Changing an Alert Status

You may change the status (Active or Inactive) of any previously created alert. When you change the status of an alert to Inactive, the system keeps the defined alert but does not send email or text messages until you change the status to Active. This feature allows you to stop receiving alerts without deleting the defined alert.

  1. On the Alerts page next to the desired alert, select Options.

  2. Select Change Status.

    The Account or Share Alert dialog box displays the following message in red text: Confirm: Set this alert status to inactive/active?

  3. Select Continue.
